About me

You know from the very beginning who you are traveling with

My name is Raini Becker. I was born in Swakopmund, Namibia, in 1954. I am a member of the third generation of my family that has called Namibia home. My parents founded one of the first hunting and guest farms in the country in 1963, near Outjo. I have been a tour guide since 1987 and have worked for numerous well-known tour operators (also in Europe and in the Middle East) and gained a lot of experience. I know how important your vacation is to you.

In 1994, I founded Namib Enviro Tours, my own travel company. I wanted to apply my own ideas in Namibia travel. I speak three national Namibian languages and am certified by the “Namibia Academy for Tourism and Hospitality (NATH)” in the subjects of geology, geography, history, astronomy, zoology, botany and archeology. As you may have already noticed, I love my job.

My company, Namib Enviro Tours CC, is registered with the Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) and the Tour Operators’ Association, TASA, and has been in operation for more than 25 years. And I am proud that my guests recommend me without any ifs or buts (see below). I am especially pleased that I have been able to welcome some of my regular customers several times to Namibia. I am happy to send you a contact list of other guests who have agreed to answer your questions about me and my tours. Please, feel free to check out Google Maps or Facebook.
